Questo ciò che si pensava... Un quartetto di Brescia formatosi nel 1989 che propone un Rock Italiano estremamente accattivante, rivelando influenze della scuola di gruppi statunitensi (Pearl Jam, Soundgarden), coscienziosamente mediate e trasferite in canzoni in cui la possente sezione ritmica formata da Luigi Bignotti (batteria) e Francesco Cherubini (basso) costituisce le fondamenta per la compatta chitarra di Francesco Guarnieri e la solida voce di Daniele Treccani. Una particolare attenzione alla melodia corona il tutto.
I BLUMACHIA, hanno collezionato una notevole serie di partecipazioni a concorsi a carattere nazionale: da ricordare il secondo posto di "Anagumba" e la finale del Talent Scout di Rete 105 Network nel 1992, e le due vittorie al Rock Master nel 1993. Proprio durante una delle serate del Rock Master, il gruppo stato notato da Marco Olivotto, produttore indipendente, il quale ha proposto alla band di produrre alcuni brani da destinare alle maggiori case discografiche italiane.
I BLUMACHIA, con il loro mix di intelligenza ed orecchiabilità , sono una delle proposte più accattivanti ed allo stesso tempo commerciali della musica italiana per l’ultimo lustro del ventunesimo secolo. A quartet from Brescia founded in 1989: they play an extremely captiving Italian Rock, influenced by the new wave of U.S. bands like Pearl Jam and Soundgarden, carefully crafted into songs whose powerful rhythm section laid by Luigi Bignotti (drums) and Francesco Cherubini (bass), buids the foundations for the strong guitar of Francesco Guarnieri and Daniele Treccani's solid voice. Everything garnished by a strong melodic feel.
BLUMACHIA have stirred quite a movement in the competitions they participated in, nation-wide: the second position at "Anagrumba" and the good placement at Rete 105 Networks's "Talent Scout" in 1992, and the winning placement at "Rock Master" in 1993. In one of the Rock Master's exibitions, the band was noticed by Marco Olivotto, indipendent producer, and he proposed them to put together some songs to be sent to major Italian record lebels.
